Review: Absolutely Truly

I have a new found love of mysteries after reading Heather Vogel Frederick’s novel Absolutlely Truly: A Pumpkin Falls Mystery. Including characters and action that entices you to read on. I was nearly in tears when reading about Black Monday and on the edge of my seat when … oops I don’t want to spoil too much, I guess you’ll just have to read for yourself!

Publisher Summary:

Absolutely Truly: A Pumpkin Falls Mystery is about Truly Lovejoy a sixth grader who at almost six feet tall finds it hard enough to fit in while living in Texas but when her family moves to tiny Pumpkin Falls New Hampshire it’s a whole different story. While helping around at the family’s bookstore Truly stumbles upon a first edition copy of Charlotte’s Web and opens it to find a mysterious envelope. This discovery sparks curiosities and she immediately tries to figure out who has been leaving the notes. With the help of some new friends she’s able to find some of her Aunt True’s past and together they solve the mystery.
