The Spy School series by Kate M.

The Spy School series by Kate M., age 11

I loved Spy School by Stuart Gibbs. It’s an action-packed spy thriller that you can’t put down. And if you’ve read Spy School, it will probably come as no surprise that Spy Camp (Spy School #2) is just as good, if not better, than its predecessor.

In Spy School, Ben Ripley is a perfectly normal kid until one day he comes home from school to find Alexander Hale, the CIA’s star secret agent, sitting on his living room couch. Next thing Ben knows, he is being transferred to St. Smithen’s Science Academy for Boys and Girls, which turns out to be the CIA’s Academy of Espionage. Here, he learns to be a spy.

After a very exciting first year at spy school, Ben plans to spend the summer with his family. But when the principal calls for Ben, he knows that the CIA has other plans. Ben finds out that he will be attending The Happy Trails Sleepaway Camp for Boys and Girls, a/k/a Spy Camp. Now, Ben and his friends embark on a whole new adventure at this wilderness education facility.

If you are 11 and older and love action, mysteries, and spies, you’ll love this series. Yes, I said series. The next book, Evil Spy Camp, will release April 21, 2015! I can’t wait!
